In January of 2017 the MTG news portal Skaties.lv<\/a> offered its readers a special poll, where everyone had a chance to vote for their most beloved and loudest names in Latvian show business. People and projects that had taken over internet news and TV screens last year. In a category “Contribution in show business development” the winning trophy went to Lauris Reiniks, the host of many primetime TV shows, participant of several TV projects, singer and actor.

He\u00a0was followed by Janis \u0160ipkevics, the regular judge of Latvian “Your Face Sounds Familiar” and Radio SWH owner with 32% votes.<\/p>\n
